dc.description.abstract | Because of paying attention on the greenhouse gas emission of petrol powered vehicles, electric vehicles have been preferred in the last few years. Rising the number of electric vehicles in traffic brings some problems. As the number of electric vehicles are increased in our lives, the waiting time at the charging of the vehicles will be a significant problem. Another problem will be the peak loads in the electric distribution network. In order to overcome these problems, a new structure for electric vehicle charging stations is proposed. A horizontal rotating charging station with its operating principle are explained. The main advantage of the proposed platform is on the electric distribution system which provides maximum linearity. The reduction of waiting time is also another benefit of the proposed charging platform. © 2019 IEEE. | en_US |
