dc.description.abstract | The RDI (Reduction Degradation Index) is an important quality criterion of sinter. In this study, a fuzzy logic based model has been developed to obtain the desired RDI value continuously. The expected RDI value for stable production in ISDEMIR (Iskenderun Iron and Steel Co.) blast furnaces is 30% -35% for -3.15 mm The aim of the study is to make the necessary interventions to ensure the desired RDI value automatically. The model developed in this study has five inputs and three outputs. With this model, coke, limestone and dunite ratios are adjusted automatically to achieve the desired RDI value. With this model successfully applied in Isdemir sinter plants, the human factor was eliminated. | en_US |
