We demonstrate theoretically and numerically a chiral slab that can exhibit optical activity, circular dichroism, and antireflection in detail. Copolar and crosspolar transmitted and reflected waves depending on permittivity, chirality and thickness are analyzed in order to display the characteristic features of the proposed chiral slab both for TE and TM incident waves. The suggested chiral slab is realized by a commercial full-wave EM solver to confirm theoretical results. From the results, the theoretical results are in good agreement with the numerical study. It can be seen that the suggested system can be used for the application to design efficient EM filters and polarization converter at microwave, millimeter wave and optical frequency regions.
